Medi-Span® Clinical is a modular suite of application programming interfaces (APIs) that work together from a common platform. With new content and functionality that clinicians embrace, Medi-Span Clinical delivers decision support functionality that helps reduce 'alert-fatigue,' while meeting the industry's heightened expectations and changing regulatory requirements. Ensures interoperability – Our vision includes providing mappings to multiple industry standard terminologies that are needed to ensure your key clinical data can be shared between applications. Medi-Span Clinical is designed to accept multiple industry standard codes for drugs (e.g., RxNorm, CVX codes), conditions (e.g., ICD-9, SNOMED CT®), and allergies (e.g., RxNorm, FDA UNII) and translate them into equivalent proprietary Medi-Span codes for use in clinical screening.
